Today I have worked my way through a sober reminder that ministry must be done without human hesitation. When God says go, we should go. When the Lord leads with a do, we should do. When the Spirit speaks whatever He wants to speak about a next step, we should take that step.

We have to trust Him more than we trust our own selves. And quite frankly, the more I know myself and my natural tendencies and faults, the easier it is to forsake my own ways and lean solely on His.

Please, Lord, help us to understand that we don’t need to understand. We just need to listen, to trust and to obey. And to leave all things, including the results of our ways, in your sovereign Hands.
