There is a distinct purpose for special events in your women’s ministry program!
As women search for places to become involved in women’s ministry and the ministry of the church, it is crucial to provide various opportunities, or entry points, where both newcomers and seasoned attendees feel comfortable, connected, inspired and transformed.
As you are aware, there are a plethora of events to be considered when pursuing a special event opportunity for your ladies. Conferences, retreats, outings, seminars, and the list goes on.
What if we told you that a pre-Christmas event called “Be Still” was available for you to implement into your women’s ministry—right at your church–this November or December and that much of the “behind-the-scenes” work was already done for you?
Be Still is designed to slow women down and to simply point them to the message of Christ. It’s an evening that incorporates a worship concert, Scripture reading, a short teaching, prayer and a time of silent reflection that is sure to bless your ladies.
If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, we invite you to download the attachments below and listen to the song “Be Still” written and recorded by Christy. For your convenience, we’ve included three different options for your Be Still event as well as steps to begin to take if the Lord leads you in this direction.
Preview the plan. Pray. Ask a few ladies if they’d join you in prayer. Seek the blessing of your church leadership. Perhaps it’s time for the women of your church to come together for a peaceful evening in the presence of God.
