What is the Broken and Poured Out Women’s Retreat ? It’s a packaged women’s event, including teaching and worship sessions, that is available for you to bring to your church. The primary purpose is to provide an opportunity for women to gather under the authority of God’s Word so that they can grow deeper together as they worship Him in spirit and truth.
What do the teaching sessions entail? This retreat is meant to disciple your women . As Jamie teaches through a passage in Luke Chapter 7, they will be challenged to see the necessary task of being broken before Christ, of following in His example of surrender, and of being poured out before Him for the sake of loving and serving others.
What do the worship sessions look like? Christy will lead your ladies in corporate worship through songs that are Christ-centered, reflecting the beauty of who God is and what He has done in Christ. Your women will be free to worship however the Lord leads them as we draw near to Him together.
What happens in the small group time? Women will gather in groups with the intention of asking and answering questions that come out of each teaching session. These are application-oriented questions that will help them consecrate truth to their hearts and inspire them to act on what they have heard. The small group time also allows for women to encourage and pray for one another.
What are the other elements of the retreat? The answer to this question depends on how you might choose to structure the retreat! Perhaps you want to include an on-site meal or a time of dessert fellowship. Maybe you would like to plan afternoon activities prior to the retreat’s first session or offer a craft workshop after the retreat concludes. The possibilities are endless! There are sample schedules available to preview.
What are the next steps if I’m interested in hosting a Broken and Poured Out Women’s Retreat? Pray and preview the information. Ask a few ladies to join you in prayer and then confirm that your church leadership is in agreement. Reach out to us with questions—we’d love to assist you and pray for you in this endeavor!
Here’s what two ladies who have experienced the retreat had to say:
I loved the music & worshiped with it on my trip home. I loved the message which is good for all of us often to remember God rewards those who seek Him. He is a God of relationship, desiring us to get to know Him. I sensed God’s presence there, it was not about entertainment. Praying God will open doors for others to hear and experience your ministry.
It was absolutely amazing! I was a bit apprehensive because I was coming by myself. I have to say the staff and ladies at my table were very kind and sweet. In fact I felt as though I was so comfortable I over talked if that is possible! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! I will definitely be attending more in the future! God bless.
